Well, folks, the ORBS are still with us, and showing up frequently. The general consensus regarding their identity is that they are souls, spirit guides, spirits, probes from motherships, dust, and/or conscious devices/devices with consciousness for collecting data on us Earthlings. (Remember David Sereda’s and Martin Stubbs’ video, “The NASA UFO’s?”) Whether they clean the air is still open to question, too. Anyhow, we love them and we think they love us, because they like to show up at parties and around animals and music and even seem to be quite curious when I catch them inspecting my tripod or bird feeder. My strongest belief about them is that they do have a consciousness, whether that be organic or not, and they still can be evoked to show up when and where desired. Sometimes I seem to get a little bored with them in my pictures, but if they never showed up again, I definitely would miss them.

#1 This photo, taken from my balcony, really is more significant as a portal photo, but I have no current Portals category, so here it is here with orbs. That night, I got three images with this window effect in them, but this one has lots of orbs in it, so I found it the most interesting, but what is really intriguing, is the fact that this is not my shutter opening somehow getting in the image. This is an octagonal opening, similar to what one would see on an airliner, but I am not on a plane, I am sitting on my balcony outside! I believe this to be a portal from one dimension to another, somehow projected from my head to the camera. Note that on the right, the lower corner, the portal is on the other side of the pine tree, which is by my balcony, and the transparency of it allows the landscape I am photographing to come through. This is not a double exposure, because it was taken with a digital.

#2 My favorite orb photo, so I am including it again this year as a repeat performance. It doesn't say much for the dust theory, though, since it has two faces, one in profile on the left, and one facing the camera.

#3 Daytime orb in the ruins of an old log cabin in a Colorado ghost town.

#4 Daytime orb in Aspen Cemetery.
#5 Orb on girl's shoulder in Egypt. Photo by Frances Stockton, U.K.
#6 Two different kinds of orbs, it appears.

#7 Red orb over Laughlin, Nevada during the IUFO Congress Conference, March 2006.
#8 Frances Stockton's photo in Egypt shows a rectangle of tiny white lights that are unexplained.

#9 Two self-luminous orbs near the river in Mexican Hat, Utah. I had a very strong feeling there would be an orb there where a piece of rock had fallen from the side of a cliff.
#10 Same place near the river in Mexican Hat.
#11 I wonder about the ring of light, partially blue and partially red, that edges the orb.
#12 Peter Gersten and Susan Gordon sent me this photo of a friend of theirs. There is a mundane orb above his head, but what is important is that his hair is electrified by the orb! I don't think dust orbs can do that. This could be very important for orbs research. There are also some small bright unusual lights elsewhere in the photo.
#13 I do not think this orb is a dust orb. I think this orb is a Spirit orb. Even before enlargement, it was translucent blue in a photo with many orbs that were transparent grey, and then, of course, there is a face there. As I look, I see the very sweet face of a child, and the orb "covering" seems to be parting to reveal this face.
