Summer Bacon channels Dr. Peebles in Sedona. Her websites are: www.summerbacon.com and www.summerbaconinstitute.com. The photos in this gallery are those I have taken during her public channeling sessions in the past year, and I often have to take eighty shots to get one with Spirit in it. Sometimes, rules of good photography are broken in order to capture the elusive light of the non-physical, such as a slightly out-of-focus image, or a long exposure time. Why this works, I don't know, but Dr. Peebles himself suggested I try it. The risks, of course, are blurred images and over-exposures, and then, careful analyzation is required to determine if the photo has elements of the paranormal or is just a less than perfect image, and sometimes, you get both, and sometimes it is just open to question.

Photo #1 Red Orb
An enlargement of a red orb on the ceiling which is barely perceptible in the original photo, but upon enlargement appears to have a face.

Photo #2, 3, & 4
In these three images of a pink orb near the ceiling above the channel's head, it is noteworthy that the orb moves from place to place. When I asked Dr. Peebles about this orb later, he said it was indeed Spirit and that Summer has Spirits all around her. This one appeared in the photo.

Photo #5 & 6
These two photos of pink and orange orbs on the rafters of the auditorium where Summer was channeling are not lens flares. Lens flares will not bend around a structure, they will stay flat in the photo. These two orbs remained together in photos taken that day, but as you can see, did change positions. Note also the tiny red orb sitting on top of a rafter with the blue orb below it. Spirit in the form of light/orbs need not be large---size appears irrelevant.

Photo #7
Note the three people on the stage, the two seated, and the one standing. They are covered with brilliant white light of Spirit. If this photo were an over-exposure, the entire image would be white, and note how the white light is not completely covering the lower legs of the standing woman, and the curtains and red wall are not obliterated with the white light. In addition, the woman standing was wearing black pants that day, not red, which may be indicative of the light of Spirit changing the color of the clothing. The light of Spirit is also partially coming up the plant on the right. IF this were a spotlight, the light would be more evenly distributed over everything and not extremely intense in some areas and not others. This photo is worthy of careful consideration. This light is exceptionally brilliant.

Photo #8 and #9

Note in photo #8 the red light on the left side of the image, which is unexplained. I do apologize for the blur in these two images, but that is the result of hand-holding the camera, which I don't recommend. Also notice the yellow flowers between the two women. In the next photo, #9, the yellow flowers are obliterated with red light, which I believe to be ectoplasm which has moved from the left of the stage to the space between the two women. They are also covered with brilliant white light.

Photo #10
Another long exposure time, but note how white the light is that is over the people in the audience, and it appears to extend from the stage to cover the people. At these channelings, this light is not visible to me, but some people do comment to me afterwards that they saw all manner of orbs and ectoplasms during the channeling. It was also explained to me that this is the light of the love of Spirit touching the people there, according to the level of reception of each person to Spirit.

Photo #11
Although this image is not sharp, note from the chair legs and the curtains that it is not blurred. The woman on the right is the channeler, Summer, and her head was moving during the shot, so there is movement there. However, that does not explain the red light above her (she is blonde) or the way the light in other areas of the image appears to be moving. Also note the brilliant white light on the assistant, Bev, who is seated next to Summer. Bev is a spiritual healer, and many times the light will be more brilliant on her than the channel, but the channel will have red light around her.
Photo #12
I found this image very intriguing because of the way the light is meandering and is so illogical. First of all, Karl is taking a photo of Summer and Bev, and the light on Karl's hand is brilliant white. Karl is a black-skinned Jamaican, so this white light on his hand is not his hand. It is not a spotlight, obviously, and the way the light is mimicking the two on the stage, jumping above them is unusual, when the image itself is not blurred. (There are no blur lines around the photographer or anyone else).
Photo #13

This is the area above the stage, looking into the rafters of the auditorium. This moving band of light was invisible to my eyes when taking the photograph.

Photo #14, 15, 16, 17

This channeling session was in another location. There was light coming in the window, as you can see, but there are no shiny, reflective areas on the chair to cause these blue light orbs and spots. Spirit does use existing light to manifest itself in photos, I have been told. This chair by the channel was empty during the session, and in these photos, note the slight changes in the shape and position of the lights. The last photo is an enlargement of one of the lights.

Photo #18
Long exposure time, but the overall image is not overexposed, since the curtains are dark. Note the red light moving across the stage and the brilliant white light of Spirit on the channel and her assistant on the stage, as well as on the audience. A long exposure will brighten the image, but will also enable the other dimensional light to be captured.

Photo #19
This is a long exposure time. However, notice that the bright white light is on the audience members, and is not over the entire image. The round white head shapes on the wall are unidentified patterns of light also. I believe this white light to be Spirit on the audience.
