In these photos, there is what we THINK we know as plasma energy, or ectoplasms, or vortex energy, or orb transmutation energy, or Sylphs, nature spirits. However, I think now that ectoplasm is the organic manifestation of spirit as it emanates from a trance medium's body, so I do not consider these vapors to be ectoplasm. Further, I distinguish these from ghosts, in that ghosts manifest as the human beings they once were, with recognizable features, though a bit transparent and grey. We don't really know what these misty shapes are, although Miceal Ledwith has definite opinions on them. Until we really know, one opinion is just as good as another, I suppose.
In previous editions of
my site, I refer to these energies as ectoplasms/lifeforce,
but they are not exactly the same as the ectoplasms
that emanated from the mouths of spirit mediums in the
early 20th century, or are they?
Oh, well--- what I like about
them is the various forms they take, which imply some
consciousness.

| Here we have a combination of plasma energy and orbs. This is an example of Miceal Ledwith's theory that orbs will transmute into vortex energy in a series of stages. No matter what it actually is, the bottom line for me is LIFEFORCE. I took this photo in Ashcroft, Colorado. There seems to be a face in the upper right.
