In previous editions of this website, I have included images of misty manifestations sent to me by guest photographers, called Ectoplasms or Life- Force. However, there is a distinction between the two. Ectoplasm is the organic manifestation emanating from a spirit medium’s mouth as recorded in photographs in the early 20th century. (See the ARCHIVES on this site for more information and images.) In these photographs which I took in my yard, no spirit medium was in attendance (except me, but I wasn’t channeling from my mouth, but my camera). These manifestations are called Life-Force, and they appeared to me only in the light of the flash of my camera. However, after excitedly photographing them for about 30 or 40 minutes, I began to talk to them, and they did respond, like the orbs often do, to my directives. They were rather compliant!

On two occasions, once in December of 2008, and again in winter 2009, I photographed some misty manifestations in my yard, all on the East side of the house. This one was in late afternoon. These manifestations have been identified by the channeled being, Dr. James Martin Peebles, as "Life-Force".

| Note that in these two separate images, the shape appears to be a head reclining in peaceful repose. Were they doing this for my amusement? These are not ghosts. As far as I know, this is a fairly new phenomenon, although I am not the only one photographing them. The shapes were only rarely of the human form, as you will see. |

All of these photos, with the exception of #1, were taken within a 45 minute period one evening. These manifestations visited me on two occasions of which I am aware. Both times, I followed my usual protocol of simply getting an urge to take photos. I never felt any fear of them, even when I began to see them in the light of the flash. I felt sheer delight that they were around. They responded to my excitement with various shapes. Once, I asked them if they would move around my foot, and they did! We seemed to enjoy a bit of playfulness together. |

The first night I photographed the Life-Force manifestations, the Elementals were around, too, and some orbs. These I believe to be Elementals. |
