If you want to photograph non-physical life forms, the places where I have found them are, cemeteries, old hotels, sacred sites, caves, ghost towns, theatres, old houses, metaphysical retreat centers and just about any place where they choose to be, which is to say, they are anywhere and everywhere, so the sky is the limit (grin). Orbs seem to be easier for me to find in my camera than other non-physical forms, but when the others make an appearance, it seems they choose to do so for certain people. I say this, because I have stood beside a friend when we were both photographing, and he got the spirits, and I didn't, so I don't consider that an accident. Nevertheless, you can politely invite them into your photographs and they may oblige you. Photos like these, with misty, transparent shapes, are often dismissed as questionable, usually for lack of more concrete form, but spirit manifestations change shape very quickly, since they are vibrating at a much higher rate than we are in lower density. Seeing them for what they are is like reading between the lines of a book.

After my mother passed away last year, I was at her house and photographed some things for her estate sale. When I saw the photo of the bronze sculpture, I noticed a small brilliant light above it.
In the enlargement of the light, I got the distinct impression that it was the spirit of my mother's finger, pointing to the window. This was her way of letting us know she was in the light now. This idea came into my head immediately upon seeing the photograph. |

While photographing in a cemetery one night, I happened to click the shutter at the same time my friend Ray was clicking his, so you can see his flash going off in the distance. However, I noticed in the image, a blue light to the left of the flash light, so I decided to crop it out and enlarge it.
In the enlargement, the blue light appears to be a spirit, and the red dot of light below it is the same kind of light I often see in my UFO photos. |

In this image in a hallway of the Hotel Colorado, there are some green lights on the right. I was there for a paranormal investigation workshop and spent lots of time just wandering around the hotel and photographing nothing in particular. |

|
|
| In these two enlargements of the green lights in the hallway, I see tiny faces, suggesting to me the presence of spirits. Spirit lights can be any color, size or shape. They have various frequencies. Some may have odors and some sensitive people can sense them. The air where they are may be unusually cold or warm. I do smell them on occasion, but usually, I just have an urge to photograph. |

| Barb McCombs took this photo at the Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs with her Hewlett-Packard digital. |
In the enlargement of Barb's photo, a brilliant white dove? is surrounded by ethereal light. Barb did not see any birds in the sky at the time, but the Garden of the Gods seems a most appropriate place to get this image. |

When I invited my friend Basil Bristow, of Ocala FL., to go to the paranormal investigation workshop with me, he wanted some pointers for photographing the spirits in the hotel. I showed him one particular room where I felt spirits to be. As soon as he started photographing in there, this image of his proved that to be the case. The "sausage" lights on the left show up in photos friends share with me on occasion, but I have yet to capture them myself, and I am quite curious about them. |
 |
| This is another of Basil's images in the Hotel Colorado, with yours truly standing against the wall in the Ballroom, camera in hand, with spirit energies active in the room in our presence. |

Mysterious white light appeared in my photo after sunset from a hike on Bell Rock. |

| I attended a metaphysical workshop given by Sara Jane Kingston about the Irish 5th century Spring goddess and saint, Brigid. After the workshop was over, I took photos around the house and found what several of us agreed was the spirit of Brigid herself, in attendance in the garden, wearing her famous cloak. There were also many orbs and unusual bright lights in the house in my photos there that day.
There are also two faces in this image, one beneath Brigid and one above her. |

| More of those exciting "sausage" lights! These sent to me and photographed by Elyn with a Canon Powershot S60. Elyn only recently started getting paranormal images, but she has been seeing glimpses of spirits for a while. She says, "For a split second I saw something sitting in my seat on the couch and when I looked of course it was gone." She shut off the lights and then started photographing. She got the interdimensional lights in the house and yard. |
Another of Elyn's photos, contrast enhanced. It has been my experience, that the people who get these kinds of photos, do have developing or heightened psychic abilities. Of course, we all have psychic abilities, but when we are receptive to them, and even work to develop them, they will often show up in our photographs, according to principles of resonance. |

One wet day, when it was raining with a little snow mixed in, I took some pictures from my balcony. I wondered if this was a snowflake or an Angel, but all the other snowflakes, of which there were few, were considerably smaller and nondescript. You can see in the background, that not even the rain or snow is showing in the photo, so this really makes me wonder! |

If you take enough photos into mirrors, you might also get something very interesting from the spirit world. A spirit can be seen in a mirror, when it cannot be seen in the room. I took this photo looking into a mirror in a very old English pub. I think there is more than one ghost reflected in this mirror.
One indication that spirit energy is around, is the strange effects you will get in your photo, which will not be a normal kind of blur. What you are getting, is the vibration or the energies of the non-physicals, which will appear in the photo as lights flying or walls, pictures, or furnishings in the room almost super-imposed over or beside reality as we see it. You can intentionally take photos while moving your camera, so that you can learn to differentiate normal blur from high frequency, or spirit blur. |

| Lee sent me this image of a spirit face on his son's shoulder while he was practicing martial arts. |

Steve Feagan sent this photo taken by his wife, Renee. They believe this to be a "sylph", one of the Nature elementals. For more information on Sylphs, go to: www.educate-yourself.org
I imagine there are more different kinds of non-physical life forms than we can even count, so to be introduced to an unfamiliar one, is fascinating. Delightful, isn't it?! |

Ron Russell of Denver sent this photo taken by a friend of his. There is a ghost in the mirror in this hospital operating room.
I am discovering the visual difference between ghosts and spirits in general; ghosts manifest in human form, usually gray and transparent, with suggestions of facial features, and spirits manifest as light distortions. However, what is "distorted" to us in this dimension, is perfectly natural in another dimension.
You can also see from the images here, that ghosts are vibrating at a lower frequency than spirits by the quality of the light. Ghosts are of the lower astral realms, whereas spirits tend to be higher vibration. |

Basil and Jean were sent to a house in Wiersdale, FL., to evaluate a possible clearing of spirits there.
Two elderly women had lived and died there, and were upset about renovations being done. The new owners of the house eventually decided they did not want a clearing. This is another example of spirit energy differentiated from image blur. Basil gets incredible images of spirit energy, and is a channel of various non-physical beings. |

| Tricia sent this photo from a family reunion in Hawaii & Looks like one or more orbs being sculptural here, or is it a spirit? Some orbs are spirits too, so no matter. |

On a hike with my friend Sara Jane, an energy healer, she stopped at a tree after sensing some spirit energy there. I took some photos, and in this enlargement, the blue light appears to be spirit energy, and I do see a face in it.
Seeing faces in spirit photos is like looking at the children's book, WHERE'S WALDO? You must look with a different kind of seeing, because you are seeing into another dimension of reality entirely, and so it is just a matter of practicing and being receptive. |
